France Nadeau - My Curved Log Cabin

I was finally able to finish my twenty curved log cabins. I worked with scraps and recycled fabric, which means I could not follow the tutorial written for fat quarters. That would have been so much easier! But they are done. I am glad. I like them. I have prepared a picture explaining the different fabrics I have used:

You can see just below how my curved log cabins look next to the log cabins I have previously made:

    1. Thank you! It's so fun seeing the different versions. Yours suit my taste with the red, the green and the beige. I'm looking forward to seeing more of it.

  2. I truly commend your work, France! It is going to be so beautiful! I just can't believe your fine workmanship, I mean, working with a variety of fabric types is SO HARD! I am a boring, straight, cotton girl myself.

  3. Thank you, Deana! I'm so happy that you like it. If you were a boring girl, cotton or not, I would not go to your blog so frequently!

  4. I really love your blocks. I just love that we use the same pattern, but our quilts will be so different. That is what make quilting so much fun. Can't wait to see your finished product. You have really put a lot of work into it.
